KCl Crystal Substrate

Potassium Chloride (KCl) Crystal has a high infrared transmittance, the transmittance greater than 90% when thickness less 10mm and in the range of 4000-500cm^-1, no impurity absorption. Its optical performance is excellent. The application of KCl substrate usually used for infrared transmission windows and FTIR spectrophotometers. It’s also useful for CO₂ lasers.
